Hmmm.... Still waiting for a picture of the book you are currently reading. (See last week's assignment.)
Take a picture of the current book your reading and send it to me. Let's see how many we can get before next Monday. We haven't had a check in for awhile. What is everybody reading? Drop me an email and let me know who the main character is (the protagonist) and who is causing all the trouble (the antagonist). Please continue to read everyday. This may involve research and reading articles. By the way, I finished my book Dead Wake by Erik Larson. Please read every day. This week will involve research and reading articles. See the writing page for more details. Did you know that most of the books you read are A/R books? If you wanted to find out if your book is an A/R book, your could either go the arbookfinder, or log into your A/R account. Nice to see a few more students taking A/R tests. Read the two poems on the poetry page to an adult. Also, read 20 minutes each day. (No, you do not have to memorize the poem.) Continue to read every day for 20 minutes. A few students have taken A/R tests. To find the link, go to Categories on the right hand side of this page and click on A/R Test. It will take you to the page with the link on it. How many people will take A/R tests this week? This week try to find 10 examples of alliteration in your book. Send me your collection. Hop on over to the poetry page and read our class poem , "I Can't Write a Poem". You should be able to spot one of the lines from the poem you submitted to me.
Hop on over to the poetry page and read the results of our class survey on poetry.

Rowling The Grim Grotto Series of Unfortunate Events #11 Jacky HA-HA by James Patterson The Penultimate Peril Series of Unfortunate Events # 12 The Walking Dead Volume One Please continue to read 20 minutes a day.
